Parlor: A Place for Leisure

The parlor is a sunny room with the original beadboard paneling and the wallpaper ceiling from 1887. A linen-covered down and feather couch faces a plush purple sofa that would have made Fred Astaire feel right at home.
If you’re so inclined, use the public computer to check your email, etc. And there's free
Wi-Fi throughout the property if your laptop came with you.
The parlor still has the original wallpaper ceiling from 1887, with its beautiful metallic highlights, along with a converted kerosene light fixture that came out of old house in nearby Jacksonville.
